Regional Symposium on Future Directions in Bridge Engineering
Following a series of bridge engineering events held across the region during 2026, the Regional Symposium on Future Directions in Bridge Engineering will provide a focused forum for discussion on the challenges, priorities, and future needs shaping bridge infrastructure. Across these events, recurring concerns have emerged around the condition of existing bridges, inspection and assessment, maintenance and replacement, and the institutional capacity required to address these needs.
The symposium will create an opportunity for national authorities and bridge-sector professionals from across the region to compare experiences and perspectives directly, working towards a shared regional picture of existing bridge assets, institutional capabilities, and the priorities likely to shape the years ahead.
26 November 2026 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Venue to be confirmed
By invitation only
